What Sdeem stores, why, and what it never does with it.
Plain-language draft. This describes exactly how Sdeem operates today and is being reviewed before launch.
What is collected
Your name and email address, the descriptions and photos you submit, your orders and their history, and — if you are a printer owner — your workshop location and bank details.
Photos you upload
Location data is stripped from every reference photo before it is stored. The photo is used to understand the shape you want and for nothing else.
Location
A maker's location is used to match them with orders. Customers are shown the maker's city, never the address. A customer's delivery address is shared with the assigned maker and the carrier, and with nobody else.
Payments
Card details are entered on the payment provider's own page and never reach Sdeem's servers. Sdeem stores only the payment reference and its status.
Who else sees it
The services that make the platform run: the design and 3D generation providers, the hosting and database provider, the email provider, and the payment provider. Sdeem does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising.
How long it is kept
Order and payment records are kept for as long as accounting rules require. Designs are kept so you can reprint or download them later. Ask and your account can be deactivated.
